Desales University Men's Lacrosse team is gearing up for an exciting tour to the UK in 2024. This tour will not only provide the players with valuable international exposure but also offer a unique cultural experience.
The England Men’s National Programme are pleased to welcome NCAA opposition in DeSales University for a set of exhibition fixtures as part of the university programme’s UK tour.
The DeSales team will meet against the England Men’s Performance squad on Saturday 15 June at Wilmslow Lacrosse Club, 1.30pm face-off, with free entry for all spectators looking to come down to support the England team and enjoy the match.
This will be followed by a match up against England Men’s U20 squad, at University of Manchester’s Armitage Centre on Sunday 16 June, 11am face-off, as they continue their preparations for July’s U20 Euros.
The team can expect to face challenging opponents, experience the rich lacrosse culture in the UK, and create lasting memories both on and off the field while having the opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage.
International exposure broadens the horizons of student-athletes, exposing them to different cultures, traditions, and perspectives. It helps them develop a global mindset and adaptability, essential skills in today's interconnected world.
As the Desales University Men's Lacrosse team prepares for their UK tour in 2024, they are not only embarking on a sports journey but also a cultural and educational experience that will shape them both on and off the field.
