A fellow lacrosse player needs your help. Dave Leach AKA Wavey needs the help of the lacrosse community. Sadly Dave was hurt while playing the game we all love and he is looking at serious spinal damage having suffered a broken neck which is life changing for him and his family.
At the time of writing this blog, the Go Fund Me page set up by Dave's wife, Louise, has raised over £28,000 in 24 hours. We are confidant that we as a community will do all we can aid Dave's recovery in every way possible but also do our upmost to support his wife and children at this most trying of times.
Personally I have know Wavey for more years than I can remember. He has always been a fierce competitor on the field and a hell of a nice guy of it. It's fair to say that if you have met Dave then you will have fond memories of him. Wavey was a member of the 2010 Wales team I coached in the World Championships where he wore the number 9 jersey with great pride, he a was a valued member of the team and much loved by all his teammates.
Please support in any way you can and share the Go Fund Me page as widely as you can.
