The STX Surgeon line has been around for well over a decade. There has been a couple of dud head releases in the Surgeon 300, not hugely robust and the Surgeon 700 which had some interesting features but failed to grab the attention of attacking players. The 500 ACP model was a great head but I can't head look at a dyed one I used years ago that sits in my office and it's pretty damn warped.
STX have stepped up with the Surgeon heads over recent years, the Surgeon 900 was a solid head and a great seller for us here at Northern Soul, the Surgeon 1k has been widely used to great success by attackmen and offensive middies alike and is still a great head offering.

STX are dropping their best ever Surgeon on Friday 6th February. Make no mistake, the Surgeon 2K is a legit head and undoubtably will become one of the hottest attack heads of the year.
