Weird And Wonderful Lacrosse Heads From Gait

Weird And Wonderful Lacrosse Heads From Gait

Jason Perrin |

Gait is no stranger to innovation when it comes to lacrosse equipment. They have fast become the leading name when it comes to women's lacrosse sticks but it's fair to say that have not had the same impact when it comes to men's lacrosse equipment......yet.

When we talk about Gait Lacrosse today it might be better to refer to them as Gait Lacrosse 2.0 because this is not their first rodeo. If your a player within a certain age range then you might remember the Gait Oracle from 2004, Gait Diesel from 2008 and the Gait Web goalie head from 2001. They had a good run for close for around 10 years and then disappeared. When Gait returned they came back hard and today are really putting out some very cool ideas in some of their equipment, nobody can accuse Paul Gait of lacking innovation when it comes to lacrosse head design and it's very easy to forget just how many heads they put to market back in the early 2000's.

Gait has had some success with some of their more recent men's head with the Torq line being very popular and the Gait Can Opener defense head was awesome, so much so the US rules committee banned it. Gait have some heads due to hit the market later this year that will start a stampede of defenders wanting the D3C and goalies across the Box community  are already losing their minds about the Gait Web.
