Like the last few years we have made it into the top 16 for the Lax Dip Dyers Cup sponsored by Epoch Lacrosse. It was a bit surprising really as it was a kind of spur of the moment entry, with our Nando's dye.
This dye was one of our first since the run up to National Schools, back in February, but its been even longer since we last did any real detailed vinyl work. Dying is something that takes a lot of practice and patience, and having managed to be selected for the final 16 has meant that we've had to get back up to speed with laying vinyl. When going up against the likes of @summit26_lacrosse, who did this awesome Calvin and Hobbs Dye for Jason, which was also his entry for the Dyers Cup 2020, we have had to really crank out some dyes to get back into the swing of things.
With Corona Virus shutting most businesses in the states down it has given all the other dyers a lot of time to work on their dyes, meaning that there will be a lot of fierce competition this year and I'm looking forward to seeing how high the bar will be set in the first round
So keep an eye out on our Instagram (@northernsoullax) for our progress and I'll be keeping you updated on here with our progress though the Lax Dip Dyers Cup 2020.
