The STX Shield 200™ lacrosse goalie chest protector is ideal for the beginner-level goalie and meets the new NOSCAE™ standard for goalie chest protection. Inspired with design cues from more advanced models in the STX line, the Shield 200™ is constructed with hard plastic throughout the chest plate and shoulder caps for increased protection. The expert design team at STX has also incorporated multiple hinges to enhance fit, allowing for unrestricted mobility. The onboard strap system offers vertical adjustability to allow the pad to grow with the player as they rise in the ranks and in height.

I bought the medium for my daughter (12) which fits her well and appreciated the support when buying to ensure the correct size. The protector has stopped balls travelling at speed to the chest and from shoulders and is very popular.
Initially bought the STX shield 200 as an experiment as the sport I play is Feild Hockey (Goalkeeper) and I wanted something less bulky than what’s on offer in my chosen sport this is the lowest range product but the quality is great it’s light and I totally forgot I had it on !! It feels well protected compared to anything else I’ve worn in feild hockey
